RIM has launched the BlackBerry Bold 9790 in India. It comes with 2.4-inch (480 x 360 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with 246 dpi and a Full QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by 1 GHz processor and runs on the latest BlackBerry OS7. It was announced last week along with the Curve 9350 that was also launched today. RIM has launched the BlackBerry Curve 9380 and the Curve 9350 in India. The Curve 9380 is the first all-touch smartphone in the BlackBerry Curve family. It comes with 3.2-inch (480 x 360 pixels) touch screen display with 188 ppi, optical trackpad and navigation keys. The Curve 9350 is the CDMA version of the Curve 9360 that was launched in September . It has an 2.44-inch (480 × 360 pixels) touch screen display with 246 ppi and a Full QWERTY keyboard . The Curve 9380 is powered by 806 MHz processor and the Curve 9350 is powered by 800 MHz processor . Both these phones comes with preinstalled social networking apps, including BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), Facebook, Twitter and Social Feeds apps. Airtel has announced the pricing for both the pre-paid and the post-paid plans for the iPhone 4S. They started pre-orders for the iPhone 4S last week and it is expected to be available from 25th November. The 16GB version comes at Rs.44,500 and the 32GB is available for Rs.50,900. These plans offer free Local Minutes, Local and National SMS and 3G Data. Aircel has already revealed their post-paid plans for the iPhone 4S earlier this week. Luxury goods maker PRADA has extended it’s partnership with handset maker LG for its next version of it’s luxury phone which is expected to arrive in 2012. The two companies have been working together since 2006 and the partnership saw 2 new luxury handsets being launched under the PRADA brand. The PRADA by LG 1.0 sold over 1 million units and I’m sure the duo are looking forward to repeat history.Pic from the “signing ceremony below”. When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%.
