Micromax X40 – Dual SIM Projector phone

Micromax X40 is a low cost Dual SIM phone with a built-in projector and it also comes with tripod stand. It has 2.4 inch QVGA TFT display, 2MP camera and include features like Bluetooth, Multi-format document reader (Word, Excel, PDF, Power point etc.) and Multi-format Audio and video player. It has adjustable lens to fine tune the projected image. This would compete with two projector phones INTEX V.Show Mini Theatre 8809 and Spice Popkorn M-9000 that are currently available in the market. MapmyIndia launches CarPad powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor

MapmyIndia, popular for its GPS navigation devices, has launched CarPad in partnership with Qualcomm that runs on Android 2.2 (FroYo). The CarPad could be mounted on the font or back seat of the car and it could be used both for navigation and entertainment. It has 7 inch Capacitive Display, and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor. It also has 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS with MapmyIndia’s Aura 3D navigation interface. HTC EVO 3D India Launch Pics

HTC launched the EVO 3D Android smartphone in India today at the Qualcomm India On Event in New Delhi and here are some pics from the launch event. HTC EVO 3D launching in India today

HTC is all set to launch it’s 3D smartphone the EVO 3D in India today at a price close to Rs.35000 undercutting the LG Optimus 3D which was launched last week for Rs.37000. We had a chance to play with the EVO 3D and the hardware felt impressive and has a 2D/3D camera toggle key.This is the 2nd glasses-free 3D phone to be launched in India. Mercury mTab, another low cost Android tablet for Rs. 9499

 

Mercury, popular manufacturer of computer peripherals has launched new tablet called mTab that runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). This tablet has 7-inchTFT LCD capacitive touch screen display and it is powered by 1.2 GHz 3-Core processor. This would compete with recently launched Reliance Tab and Beetel Magiq tablet. BlackBerry Torch 9810 launched in India for Rs.29990

The BlackBerry Torch 2 (9810) has been launched in India within a month of the official launch in UK. The launch of the BlackBerry 9810 comes close on the heels of  the Bold 9900 launch. The 9810 is the successor to the Torch 9800 and packs a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on the new BlackBerry OS 7. The Torch 2 is priced at Rs.29990 , slightly lower than the Bold 9900.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE coming soon with 1.5 GHz processor

Just a while back we had heard about Samsung confirming the Galaxy S II LTE, not it’s the time for the Galaxy Tab to go LTE. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has not even launched in all the countries yet and Samsung has already confirmed an LTE version of the same with spec upgrades and it will also be shipping with the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
