After rumours, iQOO today confirmed the launch of iQOO Z3 5G smartphone in India on June 8th. It will be the first smartphone in the country to be powered by Snapdragon 768G SoC. It will be sold on Amazon.in, similar to iQOO 7 series. Earlier rumours revealed that the phone will be priced around Rs. 25,000.
Xiaomi just launched its new Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40″ in India as it had promised. It has a 40-inch Full HD screen with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels and 93.7% screen to body ratio. Back in 2019 AMD and Samsung Electronics announced a multi-year strategic partnership to allow Samsung to license AMD graphics IP to use it in its future SoCs. Samsung later confirmed its plans to launch SoCs with AMD Radeon graphics as early as 2021. Meizu today announced Meizu Watch, the company’s first smartwatch in China. It has a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen with 100+ watch faces, 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 with 1GB of RAM, runs Flyme for Watch system based on Android and has support for eSIM for 4G and calling through all the major operators in China. It has 13 sports modes, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and pressure monitoring. There is GPS with option to monitor the whereabouts of family members and SOS emergency calls. Last month, during their Spring loaded event, Apple introduced a new service called Podcast Subscription. The service was designed to help creators on the platform with an alternative form of monetization and was supposed launch this month. However, Apple has reportedly pushed the launch to June as they are working on improving various aspects of the Podcast app.
Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro in China last week. Now the headset has been certified by Bluetooth SIG with the model number TWSEJ01ZM. There are also two other products Redmi Buds 3 Pro and POCO Pop Buds with the same model numbers, so the AirDots 3 Pro could launch outside China under these names. Acer has released new laptops in their thin-and-light Swift series of laptops and the ConceptD Notebooks series laptops made for professionals. These new laptops feature the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile and 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU options, along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series laptop GPU and NVIDIA RTX A5000 laptop GPU options.
The Apple iPhone 13 seems to be on track for its launch this year as sources in the industry indicate that Samsung and LG Display have begun production of OLED panels for it. This is about a month earlier than last year, where the iPhone 12 was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

realme just launched its X7 Max smartphone in India as it had promised after it launched X7 and X7 Pro smartphones in the country earlier this year. It packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Samsung Super AMOLED screen with 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 4096-level brightness adjustment, 1000 nits peak brightness, 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to ultra-narrow chin.
