Global smartphone chip designer MediaTek, has announced their Dimensity 5G Open Resource Architecture for smartphone manufactures. The open-resource architecture is designed for the Dimensity 1200 SoC, and will allow smartphone manufactures to customize various elements such as cameras, displays, graphics, artificial intelligence (AI) processing units (APUs), sensors and more.
Samsung is rolling out their Samsung Kiosk all-in-one contactless ordering and payment solution to 12 countries worldwide. It features 24-inch touchscreen display, has a modular design that enable a variety of payment options and more.
Instagram offers a way for some accounts to include a link in their Stories through a swipe-up gesture. The company is expanding upon this feature and is now testing stickers with links in Stories, this time with a wider user base.

London-based consumer tech company Nothing today announced that it will launch ear (1), the company’s first true wireless earbuds globally and in India, simultaneously on July 27th. The company already confirmed that it will be sold on Flipkart in India, and it will also offer No Cost EMI. It was supposed to launch this June, but the launch has slightly been pushed to summer. Google Messages is getting a really nice update that introduces two new features for Indian users. Messages will now be organized under various categories for a better viewing experience and there is a new option to automatically delete OTP messages after 24 hours.
After months of teases and testing, Microsoft has finally rolled out their all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with Windows 10 PCs and Apple phones and tablets, via browser, across 22 countries. Along with this, Microsoft also announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be powered by custom Xbox Series X hardware.
Samsung already confirmed that it has been working with AMD and the next-generation mobile GPU from AMD will be used in the next flagship Exynos processor. Update: June 29 – Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo today in an investors’ note said that the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models will feature an upgraded ultra-wide camera with autofocus for crisper and sharper images. He added that next year’s iPhone 14 series could feature autofocus ultra-wide cameras in all the models.
