Canalys has released preliminary worldwide smartphone shipment data for Q2 2021 that reveals that Xiaomi will overtake Apple to become No. 2 leading smartphone brand in terms of shipments globally. The company has achieved a 17% market share with 83% YoY growth. This is the first time it is grabbing the No: 2 spot and is placed behind Samsung which has 19% share. After teasers, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of OnePlus Buds Pro, the company’s first high-end true wireless earbuds on July 22nd, alongside the Nord 2. The image confirms an in-ear design with ear tips, a stem design that has a glossy finish and the other parts have a matte finish. It has also confirmed the features of the earbuds that include adaptive noise cancellation that uses three microphones to monitor exterior noise and intelligently produce noise-canceling counter frequencies. These feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a notch that house a 44MP + 8MP ultrawide cameras.
