After teasers, Motorola today confirmed the launch of Motorola edge 20 and edge 20 Fusion smartphones in India on August 17th, after the edge 20 series were introduced last month. The edge 20 has a 6.67″ OLED, 10-bit colour screen with DCI-P3 colour space and HDR10+ and 144Hz refresh rate and the Lite version which is launching as Fusion version has a 90Hz refresh rate. Sony has launched new X-series range of Bluetooth wireless speakers in India, namely the SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and the SRS-XG500. They feature X-Balanced speaker units with Mega Bass and Live Sound Mode, waterproof and dustproof designs, batteries rated for up to 30 hours and more.

It features a AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, a AMD Radeon RX 6800M GPU, up to a 165Hz/3ms gaming panel along with their AMD SmartShift technology for maximum performance.
HMD Global has launched the Nokia C20 Plus, the company’s latest smartphone in the C series in India, after it was announced in China back in June. It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, is powered by Unisoc SC9863A SoC with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android 11 Go Edition with two years of security updates, packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP front camera. Samsung has silently introduced the Galaxy A12 Nacho, a new smartphone in the ‘Galaxy A series’ in Europe. This has similar specification as the Galaxy A12 including a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, matte finish back, 48MP quad rear cameras and a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging, but this is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 850 SoC instead of MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. While HTC is not exactly popular in the Android space, the company is still quite dedicated in developing new mid-range smartphones and tablets. According to a leak from a Google Play Console listing, HTC is reportedly developing a new mid-range tablet with the name A100.
Moto 360 (3rd Gen), the company’s new smartwatch, has been launched in India, after it was introduced back in 2019. It features a 1.2-inch fully circular OLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels, features always-on functionality with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and has two physical buttons (similar to rotating crowns seen on other smartwatches) on the sides. vivo has launched Y53s, the company’s latest smartphone in the Y series, in India. It packs 6.58-inch FHD+ screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 3GB of Extended RAM. It comes with 64MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP macro triple rear cameras, 16MP front camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.24 seconds.
