iOS 5.0 Beta 4 Available as OTA update for Developers !

The First OTA update is here for Apple iOS devices. Updating Apple iOS devices were annoying when you are forced to download 600mb+ update file for a single bug fix. When Apple introduced the iOS 5 update along with many new features, they also promised that the iOS devices will receive OTA update starting from iOS5.As you all know iOS5 is still in beta stage and available only for developers. LG Roadmap Leaks : 4 Androids , 1 Mango Device Enroute

LG’s Android line up for the second half of 2011 just got leaked by PocketNow.  The massive leak of devices shows 4 Android devices including the successor to the Prada phone. A new device running on WP7 Mango is also expected to hit the market with high end specifications.

Barcelona to host Mobile World Congress till 2018 !

The GSM Association which is the organization behind the annual Mobile World Congress event has just announced that the event will stay in Barcelona till 2018. Mobile World Congress or MWC is our annual mobile pilgrimage where we get to play with the latest mobile phones (add tablets) .Looks like Barcelona also got the most votes in our poll when the GSMA was thinking of moving the event to another city. We would love to see the event move to another city like Milan, Munich and Paris but looks like it’s not moving anywhere atleast for then next 6 years. Visca el Barça !

Nokia declares operating loss of 487 million euros in Q2

Nokia today declared an operating loss of 487 million euros  in Q2.The company managed to ship 88.5 million phones in the quarter and had net sales of 9.3 billion euros but the handset maker is struggling to make a profit.Looks like Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has some tough days ahead of him.

Micromax A70 – Budget Android phone with 3G video calling

Micromax has launched the much awaited Android phone, Micromax A70. This phone was leaked earlier this year and it is the successor of Micromax Andro A60 that was launched last year. It runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is powered by 600 MHz processor. It has 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 5MP camera and a secondary VGA camera for video calling.
