BenQ launches Joybee GP2 palm-sized projector with iPhone dock in India

BenQ has launched Joybee GP2, its second-generation palm-sized projector with iPhone dock in India. It has highly power-efficient 3LED projection technology with 200 ANSI lumen brightness that can project up to 160-inches in size at 720p HD-ready resolution and can also project at a minimum distance of 44-inch with 1.13 short-throw ratio. It has HDMI port, multi-format video, audio and document viewing support, SD card slot, USB Reader , 2GB onboard memory and Two 2W stereo speakers. Samsung Galaxy Note LTE announced in Japan, coming to NTT Docomo on April 6

Samsung and NTT docomo has announced LTE-enabled Samsung GALAXY Note SC-05D in Japan in their Docomo NEXT series. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note last October that has reached 5 million shipments globally. It has 5.3-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display , 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), 8 megapixel AF camera with flash, Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. China Telecom and Nokia has announced Nokia 800C, the first CDMA Windows Phone in China. Other features are similar to the Global version of the phone including 3.7″ AMOLED ClearBlack curved touchscreen display, 1.4 GHz processor, 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, HD video playback, 16GB of internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Beam up for pre-order in UK

Samsung Galaxy Beam is now available for pre-order in UK from online retailer Clove. Samsung announced the Galaxy Beam, successor of their previous Beam, last month. It has 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. NFC-enabled handset shipments reach 30 million units in 2011

According to a report by research firm Berg Insight, global shipments of handsets featuring Near Field Communication (NFC) has reached 30 million units in 2011 from about 3 million units in 2010. NTT Docomo announces Android 4.0 update for 18 devices, to roll out starting July 2012

NTT Docomo has announced the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for 18 devices in their docomo with series, docomo NEXT series and docomo tablets. Some of these devices were announce in May and October 2012. The Xperia Acro and NX SO-02D were announced this January. Carbon for Twitter which had made a name for itself on the doomed WebOS platform recently made the jump to Windows Phone 7. Nokia Lumia 900 coming to AT&T on April 8 for $99.99

AT&T and Nokia has announced that Nokia Lumia 900 would be available exclusively in the U.S. from them on April 8 for $99.99. Nokia and AT&T announced the Lumia 900 with AT&T’s 4G LTE support at CES 2012 in January. The Nokia Lumia 900 has 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor. It has 8 MP camera on the back with Nokia’s Carl Zeiss optics and a front-facing camera which was missing in the 800. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and has 1830 mAh battery. HTC One X launching in India in April

HTC has confirmed on their Facebook page that HTC One X, their first Quad-core smartphone would launch in India in April 2012. HTC announced the HTC One X at the MWC 2012 last month. It packs in 4.7 inch Super LCD HD display as well as a 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor. Instagram opens sign up page for Android users

The long awaited version of Instagram for Android is right around the corner as was revealed by co-founder Kevin Systrom at SXSW. In anticipation for the impending release , Instagram has opened up a sign up page so that Android users will be notified as soon as the app goes live on the store.

Instagram is an incredibly popular photo sharing service which lets users apply filters to images. Used by over 27 million users, the service has so far been an iOS exclusive. Systrom has previously claimed that the Android app is even better than the much lauded iOS application. There is no set date for the application to go live but you can sign up at the link below to be informed about it as soon as it does.
