INQ Cloud Q seems untouchable

INQ Cloud Q that was expected to launch late 2011 has been cancelled according to a report from Electricpig. INQ launched their first Android phone iNQ Cloud Touch last year via Carphone Warehouse in UK. The INQ Cloud Q that was supposed to come with 2.6-inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and Android 2.2 that was showcased at Mobile World Congress last February. Asus Transformer Prime ICS update to roll out starting January 12, Bootloader unlock tool to follow


Asus has officially announced on their Facebook Page that the Asus Transformer Prime would receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update Over the Air (OTA)  start January 12th 2012  worldwide. They are also developing an unlock tool for the modding community who would like to have the bootloader unlocked. The warranty of the device will be void once the bootloader is unlocked and Google video rental and other DRM service would also be unavailable. Samsung Galaxy M Style Android smartphone launched in Korea

Samsung has launched the Galaxy M Style, new entry-level Android smartphone in Korea. It comes with 4-inch ( 640 × 480 pixels) capacitive super AMOLED touch screen display. It is powered by 1GHz single core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is just 9.9 mm thick with metal body and comes with a 3MP camera with secondary camera and 4GB internal memory with expandable memory up to 32GB. MapmyIndia to unveil Android-based in-dash GPS navigation systems at Auto Expo 2012

Samsung Wave Y launched in India for Rs. 7950

Samsung has launched Wave Y in India that runs on bada 2.0 OS. They announced the Wave Y last August along with Wave 3 and Wave M. It comes with a 3.2 inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by 832MHz processor. It features 2 MP Full focus camera. It is 12.3 mm thick and weighs 102.4g. Samsung has unveiled GALAXY Ace Plus, successor of Samsung GALAXY Ace. It comes with 3.65-inch TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It also comes with 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, Samsung ChatON mobile communication service and ThinkFree document editing tool. Bookings for the Aakash tablet has reached 14 lakh in just 2 weeks after the bookings opened last month, according a report from Economic Times. Spice has launched another Dual SIM Android phone, Spice Mi-280 in India. This has 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2MP camera and VGA front camera. It is powered by 600MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It also comes with 5-way key and touch navigation button. It is the successor of Spice Mi-270, Dual SIM Android phone that was launched last year. They also launched another Dual SIM Android phone, Mi-350n recently. Spice Mi-350n – Dual SIM Android phone

Spice has unveiled another Dual SIM Android phone, Spice Mi-350n which is the successor of the Mi-350. This comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display, 3.2MP auto focus camera and VGA secondary camera. It is powered by 650 MHz processor and runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) and is a direct competitor to the recently launched Micromax A75 Dual SIM Android Phone with similar specs, but A75 has larger display. HTCdev bootloader unlocking tool updated to support phones launched after September 2011

HTC has announced that the latest HTC devices launched after September 2011 are now unlockable with the updated bootloader unlocking tool. They announced that they would offer an option to unlock the boot loader and launched the unlocking tool earlier this August starting with the HTC Sensation and have added more devices to the list since then. They also launched the HTCdev site with OpenSense S3D and Pen SDK along with the web tool for unlocking the boot loaders. Samsung Galaxy Note shipments exceed 1 million

Samsung has announced that they have shipped over 1 million units of the Galaxy Note globally since the launch in October this year, after the announcement on September in IFA. They have also said that the shipments are strong in the European countries such as France, Germany and are increasing steadily in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Note remains one of the top favorite phones among people.
