MapmyIndia to unveil Android-based in-dash GPS navigation systems at Auto Expo 2012


MapmyIndia has announced that they would unveil new Android-based in-dash GPS navigation systems at Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. These in-dash systems would offer superior navigation and entertainment features and an internet-connected in-dash system that runs on Android, that allows users to browse the internet, download apps from the Android Marketplace, watch live television, track the location of the vehicle live and use MapmyIndia’s latest full featured 3D navigation software with house-level search – Aura for the first time in India.

They would also introduce MapmyIndia Zx250, India’s first portable 3D navigator and entertainment device, and the release of MapmyIndia Maps v7.0 with unprecedented map details of India covering 4000+ cities at street level, 36 cities at house-level detail, 20 cities in full 3D and 6.3 million unique destinations. They already launched a navigation device, Mapmyindia CarPad powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor last year.

Auto Expo 2012 starts on 5th January till 11th of January 2012. MapmyIndia would showcase their products at stall No. 23 during the Auto Expo 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
