LG Optimus L9 II that leaked yesterday, has been officially announced in Netherlands. It comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor (Probably Snapdragon 400) . It packs a 2460 mAh battery and a Infrared transmitter for Quick-Remote. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It pack 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Grey Apple iPhone 5S to join the upcoming champagne gold variant

With the next generation iPhone right around the corner, rumors are rife as to what new colors will be available. We’ve already seen case leaks for the champagne gold colored variant but Sonny Dickson today reported that the handset will also be available in a gunmetal grey color. The variant will join the existing silver/white and black versions.

Gionee GPad G3 with a 5.5-inch display coming soon

Gionee GPad G3, successor of the GPad G2 is coming soon says Gionee. The company shared an image of the device on their Facebook page, saying that it would come with a 5.5-inch display. It did not reveal the display resolution or any other details. According to rumors the phone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Oppo reveals N1 smartphone’s rear touch features, new images leak

Oppo already revealed that they were working on the flagship camera-centric devices dubbed the N-lens, later the name was confirmed as the N1 and leaked renders surfaced recently. Oppo started teasing the N1 last week with some details hinting at the rear touch panel and also revealed that the flagship phone would launch in September. LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II and their dual SIM variants earlier this February. The L4 II Dual went on sale in India last month and the entry-level phone L1 II was announced earlier this month. Now evleaks has leaked the press image and the specifications of the L9 II, the successor of the Optimus L9 that was launched last year. The Optimus L9 II would have a similar 4.7-inch display, but this would have a 720p display instead of the qHD display and the processor has been upgraded to 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8320 processor instead of 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430. It has a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Micromax smartphones. Xolo has launched the Q1000S, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Q Core series. We reported about the device back in July and Xolo started teasing about the device on their Facebook page earlier this week. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Q1000 that was launched back in May. UCWeb jumps over Opera to become India’s most used mobile browser

UCWeb has announced that it has become India’s most used mobile browser with a market share of 31%. Based on statistics by research firm Statcounter, the company reports that it has now surpassed the erstwhile champion ie Opera Mobile.

The company has achieved this within a span of just 3 years and is introducing a range of interesting features to provide a lot of added value to users. It’s partnership with Trend Micro announced in May 2013 is one such move that is aimed to provide enhanced security related features like alerts for malicious content. Xolo teases a slim smartphone, might be Q1000S
