It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with one-glass solution (OGS) technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). After teasing the launch, Jumbo Electronics, IT telecom and consumer electronics retailer and distributor in the UAE, has partnered with Flipkart, to launch YotaPhone, a dual-screen smartphone manufactured by Yota Devices in India. It has 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD capacitive multi touch main screen and a 4.3-inch (360×640 pixels) E-Ink rear screen. Jabra has launched Jabra Evolve, new series of professional headsets with advanced noise-cancellation technology. These headphones even have a microphone integrated into the headband. There are five headsets in the series that have noise-cancellation feature for shutting out noise in open office, including features that signal when the user doesn’t want to be disturbed.
LINE Corporation has finally released its first iPad app for LINE Messenger. You can login with your registered email and password to login, but you can create an account using the app yet. You can chat, send stickers, images, videos, voice messages and more easily with the app. Some features of the smartphone version of LINE, such as voice and video calls, the Sticker Shop, and the Timeline are not supported. Google introduced the Nexus 6, the latest flagship Nexus smartphone made by Motorola few hours back. Today Motorola has confirmed that the Nexus 6 will roll in 28 countries, including India, across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year. Qualcomm has agreed to acquire UK based bluetooth and GPS chipmaker CSR for $2.5 billion. The world’s number one mobile chipmaker, has agreed to pay £9.00 per share in cash for CSR and the total acquisition is priced approximately at £1.6 billion ( $2.5 billion).

Looks like Google is finally going head-on with Apple in the tablet space, with the just announced Nexus 9 in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 comes with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen, unlike all the previous Nexus tablets and hence becomes a legitimate competitor to the iPad mini. Designed in collaboration with HTC, the Nexus 9 features a soft touch back and a metallic frame, lending a premium look and feel for the device. The 8.9″ 2048×1536 screen is supported by the 64-bit Tegra K1 Processor that accompanies the monstrous Kepler GPU. This combination reminds us of the recently launched Xiaomi MiPad that has a similar screen aspect ratio and specifications.

Google has officially taken wraps off its next version of Android that will be called as Lollipop. The version 5.0 that was previewed as Android L at I/O conference this June has been announced by Sundar Pichai, Google’s senior vice president of Android and Chrome, in a company blog post.
