LINE Corporation has finally released its first iPad app for LINE Messenger. You can login with your registered email and password to login, but you can create an account using the app yet. You can chat, send stickers, images, videos, voice messages and more easily with the app. Some features of the smartphone version of LINE, such as voice and video calls, the Sticker Shop, and the Timeline are not supported.
LINE smartphone apps were updated recently that brought enhanced group features for chats with multiple friends, improvement to the report feature and optimization for iOS 8 and more.
Highlights of LINE Messenger for iPad
- Send and receive chat messages
- Check LINE while browsing the internet or watching a movie.
- Use stickers purchased with the smartphone version (However, animated stickers won’t move.)
- Create group chats
- Send and receive images, videos, location information, voice messages, and contact info
The LINE Messenger for iPad is available for Apple iTunes Store for free and requires iPad 2 or above running iOS 7 or later.
