Samsung has announced T5, successor of last year’s T3 portable SSD. It has the same compact design and weighs just 51 grams, but this offers up to 540 MB/s transfer speed and uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface compared to up to 450MB/s transfer speed and USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) interface. Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro press images surface, IFA announcement expected

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, successor of last year’s Gear Fit 2 has surfaced in press shots, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a new watch-style clasp, but the design is similar to the predecessor. This is said to come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance and will also be 5 ATM water resistance for use when swimming and will also offer swim tracking.

Google Voice Search adds support for eight more Indian languages

Google has expanded support voice search in more Indian languages. In addition to Hindi and English, Google will now support eight more Indian languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat update starts rolling out in India

Lenovo-owned Moto back in June started its first Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test in India. After finishing three soak tests, the company has started rolling out stable Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update in the country recently, few months after it roll out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update. Facebook secretly launched photo-sharing app Colorful Balloons in China

Facebook has secretly launched a new photo-sharing app dubbed as Colorful Balloons in China. The largest social network with over 2 billion monthly active users has been blocked in China since 2009. According to a report from the New York Times, the app was published by a company named “Youge Internet Technology” in China’s App Store and early users are not able to easily share the app with outsiders.

HMD Global introduced its Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android smartphones in India back in June. The Nokia 3 was the first phone in the series to go on sale in the country in June for Rs. 9499. At the launch the company said that other phones will be available in July, but later it confirmed that they will be available only in mid-August. Moto X4 surfaces in Super Black and Sterling Blue colors, camera specs detailed

After press renders and live images of the Moto X4 surfaced recently, new press render of the phone has surfaced showing the phone in Super Black and Sterling Blue colors with shiny glass back. It also reveals that the 12-megapixel rear camera will have f/2.0 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and the secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor will have f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120° field of view offering depth of field effects.
