Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, successor of last year’s Gear Fit 2 has surfaced in press shots, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a new watch-style clasp, but the design is similar to the predecessor. This is said to come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance and will also be 5 ATM water resistance for use when swimming and will also offer swim tracking.

It is said to come with support to sync with Speedo On app, offline Spotify support, subscription to premium Under Armour services and feature GPS support. Even though the images doesn’t show the back of the tracker, it will likely come with heart rate sensor. The Tizen OS-powered device will be compatible with Android and iOS devices. We don’t have specifications of the tracker yet.

The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro is not expected to be announced along with the Galaxy Note8 on August 23 and we might have to wait till IFA announcement in September.
