Sony Xperia XZ1 with 5.2-inch 1080p HDR display, Snapdragon 835, Android 8.0 Oreo announced

Sony just announced the Xperia XZ1, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p HDR screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and is the first phone to be announced with Android 8.0 (Oreo). It comes with a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with 1/ 2.3″ Exmor RS memory stacked sensor, 960 fps super slow motion videos, Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilization for shake-free videos, similar to the XZs.

Sony RX0 waterproof, shockproof compact camera with 1-inch Exmor RS sensor announced

Sony just announced its new compact RX0 camera at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. It has a 1.0″-type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, BIONZ X processor and a wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm F4 fixed lens to capture both RAW and JPEG stills and 4K video, full HD at 240 fps and super slow motion capture at up to 960 frames per second. Western Digital Corporation at the IFA 2017 in Berlin announced SanDisk Ultra 400GB microSDXC, which it claims to be world’s highest-capacity microSD card, couple of years after introducing 200GB microSDXC card. It meets the Application Performance Class 1 (A1) requirements from the latest SD Association’s SD 5.1 specifications that lets the card to load apps faster. LG just announced its flagship V30 smartphone at IFA 2017 in Berlin, as it had promised. It has a 6-inch (1440 × 2880 pixels) QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and has a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, Crystal Clear lens, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Hybrid Auto Focus that combines both Laser Detection Auto Focus and Phase Detection Auto Focus along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens.

It is 5 ATM certified for water resistance in up to 50-meters of water and has Speedo’s swimming training app Speedo On that lets you track key swim metrics including lap count, lap time, stroke type and more. After several teasers, Xiaomi just announced that it will unveil Mi MIX 2, its second-generation flagship bezel-less smartphone at an event in China on September 11th. Xiaomi is calling it 2.0 bezel-less display, so it is expected to have minimal bezels. The company already confirmed that it will be designed by French designer Philippe Starck, who designed the Mi MIX.
