At the IFA 2017 event in Berlin today, Acer announced the expansion of Aspire desktop series by unveiling the new 23.8-inch Aspire S24 all-in-one desktop PC with Full HD display. This all-in-one desktop is Acer’s slimmest ever, featuring a display with a side profile of just 5.97 mm.
It has 2.7mm ultra-narrow bezel with a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. Moreover, it is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 8550U or Core i5 8250U processors with Up to 32 GB DDR4 2133 MHz RAM, 2.5″ HDD, 500GB / 1TB / 2TB M.2 2280 SSD, 128GB / 256GB storage and the optional Intel Optane memory enables that helps the user to experience immersive entertainment.
Additionally, the wireless connectivity is powered by Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC (802.11ac 2×2 MIMO) technology providing reliable network connections and it has Bluetooth 4.2 as well. It also comes with a 2.1 channel subwoofer coupled with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technology.
The Aspire S24 has a Qi wireless charging base allows users to seamlessly power their mobile device without the burden of cables by supporting wireless charging for Qi-enabled devices. It features a -5 to 30-degree tiltable display with Acer ExaColor technology for color accuracy. To protect your eyes from strain, the company has implemented a BluelightShield and Flickerless technologies as well.
The Acer Aspire S24 will be available in North America on January 2018 starting at $999 (approx Rs. 63,940) and in EMEA in November 2017 starting at 999 Euros (approx Rs. 76,260).
