Vivo X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor gets certified

Vivo showcased the world’s first in-display fingerprint scanning smartphone that uses an optical fingerprint sensor from Synaptics. Now the Vivo X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor has been certified by TENAA in China. This looks similar to what Vivo had showcased at the CES last week, even though the model number was mentioned as X20 Plus A.

Honor 8 won’t get Android 8.0 Oreo update, Honor 6X Oreo update under evaluation

Huawei’s online brand Honor has confirmed that Honor 8 which was launched back in October 2016 won’t be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update. The company confirmed the news on Twitter in a response to the user’s query. Xiaomi Mi A1 Android Oreo update resumes with January security patch, includes bug fixes

Xiaomi started rolling out Android Oreo update for Mi A1 smartphone on 31st December as it had promised. Later it pulled the update due to bugs and said that it will resume in a couple of weeks after fixing the bugs. Now the company confirmed that it has started rolling out a new OPR1.170623.026.8.1.10 update for the smartphone that includes Android Security patch for January 2018 and also includes bug fixes.
