Huawei’s online brand Honor has confirmed that Honor 8 which was launched back in October 2016 won’t be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update. The company confirmed the news on Twitter in a response to the user’s query. Android O Developer Preview 4 released, final release coming soon

Google has released the final Android 8.0 O Developer Preview 4, as it had promised. This has final Android O APIs (API level 26) that was already available with the developer preview 3 along with latest bug fixes and optimizations, stable version of the Android 26.0.0 Support Library. Incremental updates to the SDK, tools, and Android Emulator system images will be available over the next few days. Google confirms Android O as Android 8.0, releases Developer Preview 3 with final APIs

Google released Android O first developer preview back in March, at the Google I/O last month, it released the second developer preview and also opened registrations Android O beta. Now it has released Android O developer preview 3 with the final Android O APIs (API level 26). It also revealed that Android O will be Android 8.0.
