LG V40 ThinQ with triple rear cameras, dual front cameras surface in press renders ahead of October 3 announcement

Earlier this month LG announced that it will introduce its flagship V40 ThinQ smartphone on October 3rd. We had already seen renders of the smartphone, now have the first press render of the phone, thanks to @evleaks. This reveals a notch design, triple rear cameras, dual front camera, fingerprint sensor on the back and a metal frame with a dedicated Google Assistant button below the volume rockers. Nokia 7 Plus Android 9.0 (Pie) update in final stages of testing, stable roll out expected soon

Google introduced Android Pie Beta program for a range of smartphones including the Nokia 7 Plus back in May. It released Android P Developer Preview 5 (Beta 4) for the smartphone last week. At the Nokia 6.1 Plus launch last month the company said that the Nokia 7 Plus will get the stable Android Pie update in September, but we are nearing the end of the month.

Linking Aadhaar to bank accounts, mobile numbers not mandatory: Supreme Court

After extending the deadline to Aadhaar card with mobile numbers and bank accounts indefinitely, back in March, today Supreme Court has announced that it is not mandatory to link bank accounts and mobile numbers with Aadhaar or when opening a bank account or for obtaining a new SIM card. It also said at No mobile company can demand Aadhaar card.

Google Chrome will automatically log in users when signing into a Google service, brings more control for Automatic Login

With the upcoming Chrome release, whenever you sign into any Google website on Chrome, you will also be signed into Chrome with the same account, as reported earlier. You will also see your Google Account picture right in the Chrome UI, so you can easily see your sign-in status. When you sign out, either directly from Chrome or from any Google website, you’re completely signed out of your Google Account.

Qualcomm accuses Apple of stealing trade secrets to improve performance of Intel chips

Qualcomm seems to be in no mood to stop its legal battle against Apple as the chip maker freshly accuses Apple of stealing software and tools to improve chips from its rival Intel. Qualcomm is asking the judge to include the consideration of the latest accusations to a case between the two in state court in California. The suit is due to go to trial in April next year. Honor 8C with 6.26-inch 19:9 display, dual rear cameras to be announced on October 11

Huawei’s Honor brand is all set to announce the Honor 8C, a new budget smartphone in the Honor 8 series on October 11th in China. The successor of Honor 7C that was introduced earlier this year now has a notch and a larger 6.26-inch screen. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB of RAM. On the back there are 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras and there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front, same as the predecessor.
