Oppo N1 Mini is the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone with a 206-degree swivel camera that was launched in India last month. It has the same 13 Megapixel camera with 1/3.06″ Sony EXMOR RS sensor, six-element lens and an aperture of f2.0 that we had seen on the Oppo N1. The first Moto G flagged off the successful return of Motorola, in India. Flipkart, that has fuelled this run for Motorola phones has already sold 1.6 Million phones from the brand. Motorola has announced entry of 2 new phones and 1 smartwatch, before the festive season begins, in India. On sale already, Moto G (second gen) is available only in 16GB variant at price 12,999 INR. Most of us spend a good deal of time in front of our computers and we have little or zero physical activity and these Fitness trackers are supposed to help us exercise more and stay fit.That is how became a big fan of fitness gadgets and it all started with my purchase of a FitBit Ultra back in 2012 and then the FitBit. Since then I have tried pretty much all the Fitness trackers out there from the FitBit to the Jawbone Up, Nike Fuel Band, Garmin Vivofit, Samsung Gear Fit and more. It all starts with a great level of usage and excitement, but sooner or later I end up giving up on the device and it end up collecting dust. Most of the fitness trackers out there have more or less the same features. Some might offer sleep tracking as a bonus feature but a Fitbit pretty much does the same work for you as a Jawbone UP or a Garmin Vivofit. But why do I give up on every Fitness device after a few weeks with it ? The main issue is not the lack of some cool feature or such but the lack of motivation to continue exercising and to stay more fit.
iBall Andi 4.5M Enigma, the latest smartphone in the Andi series has been listed on the official website. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touchscreen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, similar to the Andi 4.5D Royale that was launched earlier this year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Motorola launched the new Moto G in India yesterday priced at Rs. 12,999, it is now on sale on Flipkart, as it promised at the launch. The second generation Moto G has a larger screen, better camera, front-facing stereo speakers and a microSD expansion slot. FoneArena and OnePlus teamed up to do something, which fans love the most – a meetup! The fun event was scheduled on September 4 in Bangalore and more than 30 OnePlus and FoneArena enthusiasts turned up even though it was a weekday.
We had Carl Pei, Ruston McLean and Andy Zhang from the OnePlus Global team along with FoneArena crew.
The fan meet up got rolling at 5PM with Varun Krishnan and Carl Pei’s introductory note. Ruston, who leads the business development at OnePlus also thanked all the fans for taking some time out on a busy weekday.
As promised, the OnePlus and the FoneArena team were ready with some goodies to giveaway. There was two OnePlus One units up for grab as well and the team decided to run a raffle to pick the lucky fans.
There was a lot of buzz with lot of tech talk and the environment was electrifying. All the fans had a chance to interact with the OnePlus and the FoneArena team. Taking selfies with Carl and Varun Krishnan was a common sight. We had some delicious food on offer as well.
After a lot of interaction and fun activities, the moment of luck finally arrived – 2 OnePlus One 64GB Standstone Black units were at one’s disposal.
There were two lucky winners – Vinu Thomas and Mohameed Vaseem left the venue with smiling faces. We wrapped up by thanking all our fans for being there and we made sure that everybody had something to win.

Microsoft has launched the Nokia X2 Dual SIM, the second generation X series smartphone in India. It was announced back in June and packs a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, powered by a 1.2 dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Nokia X software platform based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Xiaomi has announced that 40,000 Redmi 1S units will be available for sale in India on Flipkart on September 9th. Over 2 lakh people have already registered for the sale. In September 2nd sale, less than 40,000 units of Remi 1s units have been sold on Flipkart in just 4.2 seconds, however these are expected to ship only on September 16th. So smartphones ordered in next week’s sale are likely to ship later this month. The company recently announced that it has halted the sales of Mi 3 temporarily in India to concentrate on Redmi 1S.
