Xiaomi has announced that 60,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones would be available in fourth flash sale in India. This is 20,000 more than first three sales. Amazon launches new Kindle with touch screen in India for Rs. 5999

Amazon introduced the new Kindle Voyage and the upgraded Kindle in the U.S. few hours back, it has also launched the new Kindle in India. It has the same 6-inch ( 600 x 800 pixels) display at 167 PPI pixel density similar to the last year’s non-touch Kindle, but this has a touch screen, similar to the Kindle Touch. Lenovo A7-30 tablet with voice calling went on sale in India back in June for Rs. 9,979. We brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the tablet recently, here are the benchmarks of the tablet. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400-MP2 GPU and has 1GB RAM. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) multi touch IPS display. Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy Core 2 to Rs. 8,007 in India, soon after the launch of Android One smartphones. Prior to the price cut it was selling for Rs.11,900 on the official eStore, which is the launch price of the smartphone. Lava rolled out Android 4.4 (KitKat) over-the-air (OTA) update for the Iris 504Q+ back in July, now the company has started rolling out Android 4.4 update for the Iris 405+ smartphone. It was launched back in January running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The KitKat update for the smartphone should offer improved user experience through an enhanced user interface and software performance.It also brings a new dialer app. Lava is yet to release the official changelog for the update. Micromax has partnered with BSNL, State Owned Telecom Operator, to offer data and other benefits with Micromax devices including feature phone, smartphones tablets and dongles. This offer would be initially available across four Micromax devices – Micromax X070 and X088 feature phones, Micromax P410i tablet, Micromax MMX377G dongle, Micromax A37 and A37B smartphones. This includes, free data of up to 2GB per quarter, 500 minutes of free (on net) voice calls per quarter for 12 months and more. Intex has launched the Aqua T2, the latest smartphone in the Aqua series. Intex says that this is the cheapest smartphone running Android 4.4 (KitKat) in India. The company launched the Aqua 4X last week, which is one of the cheapest smartphones in the country with 4-inch display, 3G connectivity and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Aqua T2 has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
