Infinix today launched the Hot 12 Play, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India, as it had announced. The phone packs a 6.82-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, an 8MP camera inside the punch-hole, 90.66% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Unisoc T610 SoC with 4GB of RAM, 3GB of virtual RAM and features a 13MP rear camera along with a depth sensor. Infinix just launched the Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo smartphones in India, after teasing it recently. Apple asks users to add UPI or Net Banking as it no longer accepts credit, debit cards for App Store payments, subscriptions in India

India PC Market grows 37.7% YoY in Q1 2022: IDC

According to new data from the International Data Corporation, India’s traditional PC market grew by 37.7% in the first quarter of 2022. Desktops, laptops, and workstations were all included in the list, said IDC. The desktop category had its first million-plus sales since 3Q 2014, while the notebook category remained the sales driver with 3.1 million units. The resurgence in the government sector fueled consumer demand, and merchants pushed inventories through the channels to keep the market positive.
