Samsung launched 6 new phones at CommunicAsia and the most exciting ones (atleast the specs and price point ) were the Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro . But Samsung showed off only the hardware of these devices infact just a dummy handset. Here are the full specs of the Wave 2

Apple has started to ship the latest iPhone 4 to customers in USA according to MacRumors. The iPhone 4 is going on sale on June 24th and these new phones are expected to reach users who ordered them online early by June 23rd. The iPad shattered previous sales records set by Apple . iPhone4 Pre-orders crippled Apple and AT&T order systems and some users were unlucky to have their orders canceled. Nokia launched the X5-01 at Nokia Connection 2010as an entry level QWERTY Music phone. I actually liked the square form factor a lot and it fits nicely in a pocket. I’m a huge fan of the X10 mini , Moto Flipout and Microsoft Kin. Is Small and Square the next big thing in mobile ? lots of pics after the break !
Nokia announced the C2 earlier this month in Africa. It’s actually the C2-00 and infact finally a Dual SIM phone from Nokia. We had the chance to play with this device at Nokia Connection 2010.You might have heard of the term Dual SIM Dual Standby which means that both SIMs stay active at any point of time. Here is a short video showing the Nokia C5 which we saw at Nokia Connection 2010. The device is pretty compact and easy to use. It’s a basic 3G phone running on Symbian 3.2 and sports a T9 keypad.

From Q3 the the XPERIA X10 , X10 mini and X10 mini pro will get Android 2.1 upgrade as confirmed by a Sony Ericsson executive at the event here in singapore
X10 will get update to enable full HD Video recording by Q3 and also DLNA wireless sharing by Q4 2010
SE had earlier announced updates scheduled for Q4 2010.
Q3 is not too far way. Good news for Sony Ericsson users !
