Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition Smartphone

Remember we told you about the Acer Ferrari branded phone which was in the works ? Now that partnership between the phone maker and the racing brand have taken shape in the form of the Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition phone.The phone packs a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen on the front while the rear sports the “Scuderia Ferrari” shield in carbon fibre.The redesigned microphone resembles the “air intake inlet”. In short it’s the Acer Liquid E phone with a unique touch of Ferrari branding. And if you are interested in the technical details, yes it runs on Android !

2 million iPads sold in under 60 days

Believe it or not , the Apple iPad is the latest craze and it’s selling like hot cakes. In fact Apple announced today that it has sold 2 million iPads so far since the official shipping date of April 3rd.

The iPad does lack features like Flash , Multitasking but whats even more interesting is the rise of iPad clones like the APad China iPad which are selling at a fraction of the cost of the original device and running Android.

EXCLUSIVE: Mini-(P)review of the upcoming Nokia C6!

As i said in the Post for the Picture Gallery yesterday, I’ve been given the brand-spanking-new Nokia C6 for a few Days. When it was announced, i thought that this might actually sell like Hot Cakes, and after 1 1/2  Days with it, I haven’t changed my Mind. With it’s Features, Form Factors and Price Tags, the C-Series will be aimed and surely sold mainly to young People, who wanna be connected 24/7 and keep in Touch with their Friends, be it via SMS, IM, Social Network or Mail. With a Price Tag of 220 Euro before Taxes and Subsidies it stays in an affordable Range, especially if you get it via Provider.

Before you continue reading, I have been told that the Software of those two Models are not ready yet. Things can slightly change until the Phone comes out to the Markets, but nonetheless I must say that the Bugs were very few and the Operating Speeds pretty good. Anyways, here’s what I’ve found out after using the Nokia C6 for a full day:

Dell Streak Gorilla Glass gets Tortured

We heard that that Dell Streak uses a special kind of Glass called Gorilla Glass for the display. It is known to be scratch proof. The guys at Engadget torture the Streak Prototype by banging a pen tip on the screen repeatedly. Does the screen survive ? Watch the  video below !

Nokia N8 USB OTG Demo with PenDrive

The Nokia N8 has a USB OTG (On-The-Go)  which means that you can connect pendrives or small hardrives via the microUSB-USB cable to the Phone. Here is a video in which a Pen Drive is connected to the phone and also another phone a Nokia C5 and both show up as Mass Storage within the FileManager . Pretty Cool eh ?

How about this for some Sunday Fun? I managed to get my Hands on not one, but two Nokia C6 for this Weekend and as usual, went out to snap some juicy Pictures of those two. The Nokia C6 has been announced on April 13th, 2010 and is one of the brand new C-Series Line-Up. It features a 3,2″ nHD (360×640 pixels) resistive Touchscreen, a brand new, FANTASTIC 4-row slide out QWERTY Keyboard, with D-Pad, a 5 Megapixel Camera with Single LED Flash, a 1200 mAh Battery and some cool new Software Features, such as new Mail Client (like E71), smart dialing (yes!!) and a new lock Screen. Apart from that, you get WLAN, free GPS Navigation with Ovi Maps, 3,5mm Jack aaand hoorray for Homescreen Widgets! This all for 220 Euro before Taxes and Subsidies – really good Phone for such a Price, don’t you think?? I’m using it for some Hours now, and so far I like what i see!

Apple Bringing iPhone OS to next AppleTV at a Price of just $99 ?

When GoogleTV was announced earlier this month , most of us were wondering why Apple never took AppleTV seriously. Apple has admitted that it was a hobby project.But now things are set to change with next version of AppleTV.

If you are wondering what AppleTV is head here. Now Engadget is giving us some interesting news that Apple is working on the next version of the AppleTV product which will be running on iPhone OS and use similar hardware found in latest iPhone and iPad aka A4 Processor.  It will use a cloud based storage which might be the next version of MobileMe.

Acer Stream Photos and Video

Here are some official photos of the newly launched Acer Stream which is powered by a 1Ghz Processor and runs Android 2.1 . The phone uses a AMOLED capactive touchscreen.  The phone looks pretty impressive and is 11.2 mm thin. The display supports 1.67 million colors and Acer is claiming improved battery life. It weighs 140g although it has no QWERTY . But considering the specs and the 1400 mAh battery we are ok with that.

Acer Stream with 1GHz CPU, Android 2.1 , 720p HD video recording

Acer has just launched the Acer Stream during an event in China / Taiwan and the specs looks pretty impressive.The phone is powered by a 1GHz Snap dragon processor and runs on Android 2.1+ Acer UI. The display is a 3.7inch AMOLED touchscreen.

There’s 3G/HSDPA,WiFi(n) ,Bluetooth, mini HDMI. The phone also packs a 5 MP Camera which does 720p HD video recording. The phone is just 11.2mm thick. There is over 2GB of inbuilt memory in addition to a microSD Card slot
