Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel and Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. Like last time, is not available for Nexus Player yet. Google announces Android Wear beta based on Android 8.0 Oreo

Google Android 8.0 Oreo is finally out of beta and is slowly finding its way into smartphones, and with that being out of the way, it’s time for Android Wear. Google is finally taking beta registrations for the preliminary beta update for the next version of Android Wear starting today. Though it is the next version of Android wear, you will be disappointed to know that the update doesn’t bring a lot of new features and will only be termed as “technical upgrade to API 26”. HMD Global confirms to unlock bootloader on Nokia Android smartphones one at a time

Android Oreo is now on 0.2% of devices, Nougat adoption hits 17.8%

Google is out with Android distribution numbers for the month of October. Android Oreo that was released little over a month ago, has entered the charts this month and is now present on 0.2% of all the devices. Google started rolling out Android 8.0 Nougat to Nexus and Pixel devices in late August.

FaceID will likely feature in all 2018 iPhones: KGI

Motorola confirms Android 8.0 Oreo update for range of smartphones

Google started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for Pixel and Nexus devices starting from last month. HTCSony and Nokia already confirmed list of devices that will get the Oreo update, Moto has officially announced the list of smartphones that will get the Android 8.0 update. This includes the Moto Z series, Moto X4 and Moto G5 series. Sadly the Moto G4 series and older Moto X series are not there in the list.
