Philips has unveiled Aurora i966, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in China. It has a 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD display with 2.5D arc glass, slim bezels with 63.8% screen-to-body ratio and Corning gorilla glass protection, powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Alibaba’s YunOS 3.0 based on Android. HTC Android 5.0 Lollipop update timeline for devices revealed
HTC has confirmed last week that Android 5.0 Lollipop update is coming to One (M7) and One (M8) “within 90 days of receiving final software”. Now, the company has extended the update to more of its devices, according to latest report from LlabTooFeR.

Apple launched the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus smartphones in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the iPhone 6, Plus here we have its benchmarks. The Apple A8 chip in the iPhone 6 Plus has dual-core custom ARMv8 64-bit cores clocked at 1.4GHz per core . It is based on 20nm HKMG process, compared to 28nm on Apple A7 chip. AOC to launch 6-inch phablet and 7-inch tablet in India in November: Report
AOC, popular for its displays and monitors entered into tablet market with the launch of two new Android tablets under the Breeze category in India back in April 2013, now the company is back with another tablet and also plans to enter into the smartphone market next month, according to a report from ET. Gmail 5.0 for Android to support Yahoo, Outlook and other email accounts
Google is planning to release Gmail v5.0 for Android with support for all other email accounts like Yahoo and Outlook, a leaked promo video reveals. You can switch between either accounts by a simple swipe or by touching the account drop down, reveals the video.
