It has a 5-inch HD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). Gionee has released the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for its Elife E3 smartphone in India. Along with the Android 4.4′s features such as wireless printing, support for emojis and more, this update brings a new homescreen layout, Touchpal, Kingsoft Office and more, similar to other smartphones. HERE Maps for Android was launched as beta last month. The app has been updated to version 1.0.220 that brings support for Android 5.0 (Lollipop). This update also brings fixes to downloaded voice files that will not be cleared if the phone’s cache is wiped using a cleaner, as it promised.
