Dell recently announced that it will soon launch its first Android based handset, Dell Aero on the airwaves of AT&T. This handset run on Android 1.6 operating system. This device was first unveiled at CES 2010 in January and it was earlier known as Dell 3. The complete specs of this device is not available yet.

The Android powered HTC Supersonic is expected to be announced by the mobile phone carrier Sprint in this week. According to the rumors, Sprint may unveil this handset on March 24 during the CTIA 2010. Something very very interesting popped up in my News Reader today: René, from the highly recommended german Website mobiflip.de has attended the CeBIT recently and amongst some other latest Devices, such as the latest HTC Bangers Legend and Desire, he also had a play with the long-awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The interesting Part? Well, the Demo Girl confirmed to René that the X10 will indeed be released with Android 2.0 on it! The Demo Device had 1.6 on it and to be honest, I’m again not too impressed with what i was seeing. The Device was obviously still lagging and did not do the Overall Impressions any Favors.

At MWC 2010, we got a chance to play with the Google Nexus One built by HTC . The phone is powered by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor which means that the phone is fast and snappy. It runs on the latest version of the Android (2.1 Eclair) Operating System.
Google might be planning a Nexus One mini for India. They are planning to bring a cheaper cut down version of the Google Nexus One phone to India according Ankit from CNBC TV-18 who had a chance to interact with Google India MD Shailesh Rao . Few days ago , Rao felt India was not smartphone friendly , perhaps he has grand plans to tackle that.
