Asus rumored to be working on two new Transformer tablets

Asus was the first company that introduced the concept of Android transformer tablet which a detachable dock. Asus was also the first company that came up with Asus PadFone concept. Despite being innovations of their own, both the series failed commercially. But Asus isn;t giving up. They have launched a lot of Transformer products till now and according to rumors from Italy, the company is working on two more models of Asus Transformer series.

Panasonic has finally launched the Panasonic P31, the company’s latest smartphone in the P (Phablet) Series, after teasing it for few weeks. It has a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch screen display with Ultra Oleophobic coating to prevent finger prints, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. Opera 20 for Android brings WebRTC support for video chats

Opera has updated the  Opera browser for Android to version 20, that brings WebRTC (Real-Time Communications support) that lets the browser communicate peer-to-peer with encryption without plugins. This was first introduced in the Opera 20 beta for Android last month. This update also brings ability to configure UI layout to suit mobile phone or tablet, simple search feature that auto completes your search results, option select phone, classic or tablet layout and more. The discover ticker feature that was introduced in Opera 20 Beta has been removed, since it needed polishing, says Opera. Xolo launched the Q1100, the company’s first phone in the Q CORE series powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor last month priced at Rs. 14,999. We brought you the unboxing and benchmarks of the device earlier this week, here we have the camera samples from the phone. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI 2 Sensor and LED flash. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera that is capable of recording videos at 720p HD resolution.

Even though the invite doesn’t mention anything clearly, the “Xperience a new beginning” in the invite and the green color, clearly states that it would obviously launch the Nokia X at the event. The HTC Desire 310, the company’s latest budget phone surfaced on the official website, back in January briefly. The Desire 310 with a model number 310w appeared on the company’s Chinese website recently It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Iris 503e, a budget variant of the Iris 503 is now available from eBay.in. it has a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, unlike the qHD screen on the Iris 503. Other specifications are almost similar, including a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and a Dual SIM support. According to official website, it has a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but the branding on the back says 5MP. Nokia X Dual SIM Android smartphone listed online in India for Rs. 8499

Nokia unveiled the Nokia X, the company’s first smartphone built on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) at the MWC 2014, few weeks back. Earlier this week online retailer The Mobile Store listed the smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 8,500 with availability date of March 15th. LG L90 to roll out starting this week

LG unveiled the L90, the company’s top-end smartphone in the L Series III line-up last month, and showcased it at the MWC 2013 few weeks back. The company has announced that it would begin rolling out the smartphone globally starting this week. The phone has a 4.7-inch qHD screen, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with LG’s custom UI on top.

A device codenamed Xiaomi HM 1AC has surfaced on GFXBench with some specifications. According to the benchmarks, it would have a 9.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and run on custom MiUI ROM based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Google launches indoor Maps in India, available in 22 cities

Google has introduced indoor Maps in India finally, that lets you determine where you are, what floor you’re on, and where to go indoors and more, when you are visiting popular venues such as malls, supermarkets etc. Google Maps for Android got the Indoor maps feature back in 2011, later it was updated to support walking directions.
