LG L90 to roll out starting this week


LG unveiled the L90, the company’s top-end smartphone in the L Series III line-up last month, and showcased it at the MWC 2013 few weeks back. The company has announced that it would begin rolling out the smartphone globally starting this week. The phone has a 4.7-inch qHD screen, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with LG’s custom UI on top.

It would be the first L Series III device to offer Knock Code, that lets users turn on and unlock the phone by tapping their screens using one of over 86,000 “knock” combinations. It can be entered even when the screen is turned off, using anywhere from two to eight taps.

  • 2,540 mAh battery
