It was announced earlier this month and packs a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Facebook has updated its Facebook Messenger app for Android and iPhone to version 4.0. This update finally brings group messaging, just like WhatsApp and Google Hangouts. You can also name the group. The new Forwarding feature lets you forward any message to others who are not in the conversation. HTC Desire 310 dual sim, the company’s latest budget phone is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It was officially announced earlier this month and packs a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This is the company’s first phone powered by a MediaTek chip. Microsoft releases Microsoft Office for Apple iPad – Word , Excel and PowerPoint

At an event in San Francisco today, Microsoft’s new CEO Satya Nadella announced the availability of Microsoft Office for the iPad. The company has released 3 new iPad apps for Word , Excel and PowerPoint . The news is not a big surprise considering this is a much expected move but instant availability on the App Store is a great piece of news of Office users especially those with a Office 365 subscription. The apps are free for download and event viewing office documents is free. But editing the documents requires an active Office 365 subscription. This is clearly Microsoft’s attempt at getting more users to sign up for their cloud based Office offering.

Twitter for Android and iPhone to get photo tagging and multiple photo upload

Twitter has started rolling out two new features for the Android and iPhone apps. The photo tagging feature would let you tag up to 10 people in photos. Another feature is option to upload up to four images in a Tweet at a time. “Tagging doesn’t affect character count in the Tweet — you can tag up to 10 people in a photo and still have all 140 characters at your disposal”, says Twitter. It was unveiled ahead of MWC 2014 and packs a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 or 1.7 GHz Nvidia Tegra 4i processor, and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It would be powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5422 (A15 1.9 GHz ＋ A7 1.3 GHz) processor with ARM Mali T628 MP6 GPU and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing and has XMM6360 for HSPA+ ( up to 42 Mbps) connectivity. Since it has Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, it can run combination of up to eight cores to provide optimum performance. Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S5, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India tomorrow. Now Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the phone would be priced at Rs. 51,500 in India and would go on pre-order starting March 28th for a pre-booking price of Rs. 1500. Samsung also plans to offer 15% Cash Back on Citibank Credit Cards with EMI of 6/12/18 months at applicable interest rates.
