Sharp to debut 7 inch tablet with MEMS and IGZO display technology in 2015

Sharp has announced that it will introduce a new 7 inch tablet that will boast two different display technologies. The tablet which will be ready by 2015 will have Sharp’s own energy-efficient IGZO tech, and Qualcomm’s light-reflecting Mirasol project.

HP 10 Plus Android tablet with full HD display launched for $279.99

HP has launched HP 10 Plus tablet with 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display. Running on Android KitKat 4.4, the tablet is powered by A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor.

LG G3 Stylus officially launched in India for Rs. 21500

LG has officially launched the G3 Stylus smartphone in India. It went on sale last week and packs a 5.5-inch qHD display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It borrows G3’s design, comes with a Rubberdium stylus pen and has new user experience (UX) features of the G3. Obi Mobiles updated its smartphone lineup with five new smartphones last month, now the Obi Crane S550 and Leopard S502 two new mid range smartphones are available from Indiatimes Shopping. The Obi Falcon S451 would be the company’s first smartphone with a swivel camera. The smartphone looks like the Oppo N1, but this has an 8-megapixel camera. It is expected to go on sale soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The smartphone was launched in the middle east recently. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 3G support with a single micro SIM card and has voice calling capabilities. Lenovo A8-50, the company’s latest A series tablet is now on sale in India on Flipkart, after the A7-30 and the A7-50 tablets. It was unveiled earlier this year and packs a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, quad-core MediaTek processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is upgradable to Android 4.4 (Kitkat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Last month HTC sent out invites for the Double Exposure event on October 8th. Recent leaks indicated HTC One M8 Eye with 13MP Duo Camera and a RECamera , competitor to the GoPro. Today fresh leaks from @Upleaks shows the press shots of the upcoming HTC Desire Eye smartphone with 13-megapixel cameras on the front and the back. Both have dual LED flashes next to them. LG L Fino, L Bello and G3 stylus now on sale in India

LG unveiled the L Fino and L Bello in the L series and the G3 Stylus with Rubberdium stylus pen back in August, and these smartphones started rolling out globally last month. These smartphones are on sale in India via Flipkart. All these smartphones run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with premium UX features and has G3-like rear buttons.

Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 Review

Google announced the Android One program back in June at the Google I/O to provide low-cost Android smartphones running on stock Android, with software updates handled by Google. It also released a reference hardware and announced Micromax, Karbonn and Spice as the first members of the program. Spice launched the Dream UNO Mi-498, the company’s first Android One smartphone priced at Rs. 6,299 at an event in India last month. Asus Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 Android 4.4 KitKat update starts rolling out

Asus has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the ZenFone 4 (A400CG), ZenFone 5 (A500/A501CG) and ZenFone 6 (A600/A601CG) smartphones. In India the update is now rolling out for the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) smartphone. The Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that went on sale in India recently runs on Android KitKat out of the box. The KitKat update the entire Zenfone series is available in China, Taiwan and other countries.
