OPPO ColorOS 17 global and India launch set for October 13

ColorOS 17 India launch date

OPPO India has officially confirmed that its next-generation operating interface, ColorOS 17, will make its Indian debut on the upcoming Find X10 Series. The announcement establishes the Find X lineup once again as the primary launch vehicle for the company’s major software releases in the region.

According to the manufacturer, ColorOS 17 is scheduled for a global unveiling on October 13, 2026, after the China launch last month. The updated software focuses on deeper hardware-software optimization down to the silicon level, targeting consistent stability across resource-intensive tasks such as sustained 4K video recording and heavy multitasking, alongside cross-device connectivity across OPPO’s broader IoT ecosystem.

The Find X10 Series will serve as the flagship testbed for this software integration. OPPO previously announced that the series will be among the early adopters of MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. The hardware package will continue the brand’s imaging partnership with Hasselblad, utilizing OPPO’s proprietary LUMO Image Engine for photography and video processing.

The rollout follows OPPO’s steady expansion of its premium Find X portfolio in India over the past year, which included the Find X9 Series in November 2025, followed by the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s in May 2026.

Further technical specifications, regional availability, and official launch dates for both ColorOS 17 and the Find X10 Series are expected at the upcoming October event.
