Lenovo announces open sale for K3 Note on Aug 10th and 11th after selling over 2.5 lakh units

Lenovo has announced that the K3 Note smartphone will be available without registrations through open sale on August 10 and 11th exclusively from Flipkart. The company launched the K3 Note smartphone on June 25th. It sold 47,440 units in the first flash sale on July 8th, 49,800 units (30,000 units in black and 19,800 units in white) in the second flash sale, 45,000 units (27,000 units in black and 18,000 units in white) in the third flash sale and 62,000 units in the fourth flash sale yesterday. Google releases LMY48I Factory Images and Stagefright patch for Nexus devices

Google has released Factory Images for build LMY48I in order to fix the Stagefright security bug. The factory images are available for the Nexus 6, Nexus 9 (LTE and WiFi), Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013, WiFi), Nexus 10, and Nexus 4.

Lenovo Vibe X3 spotted on GFX benchmark

Lenovo was reported to be working on four smartphones – Vibe X3, Vibe P1, Vibe P1 Pro and Vibe S1 at the beginning of this year. Images and specs of all these phones were leaked in February. Now, one of these phones viz, Vibe X3 has appeared on GFX benchmark.

Meizu has launched the m2 note, successor of m1 note smartphone in India. It was announced back in June and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IGZO display, is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Flyme OS on top. LG announces new Wine Smart flip phone with Android 5.1, global roll out starting this month

LG launched Gentle, an Android flip phone in Korea last week. Today the company has introduced the same phone as new Wine Smart, successor of last year’s Wine Smart for global markets.
