14,000 Lenovo Vibe P1m units sold out in 10 seconds in first flash sale on Flipkart

Lenovo launched the Vibe P1m smartphone in India last week.  It went on sale on Flipkart through flash sale at 3PM today. Xolo just launched BLACK 1X, its second BLACK series smartphone, as it promised last week. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection, is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HIVE Atlas UI on top. Xolo has promised that it will be upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) in future, but no details about the time frame yet. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.15 seconds, LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. Motorola Moto X Style Review

The Moto X Style from Motorola is the flagship product in the X series from Motorola this year. While the Moto X Play came out earlier last month, the X Style went official in India this month. It is basically a high-end smartphone that has a design that is quite similar to the Moto X Play but has much more beefed up specifications and features. We had reviewed the Moto X Play and we found that it is a really good smartphone and that it is one of the best in its price segment. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony or Samsung sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has unibody metal build and a fingerprint sensor 2.0 on the back that can unlock the phone in under 0.5 seconds. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 with shatterproof display and DROID Maxx 2 announced

Motorola has announced the most expected DROID Turbo 2 smartphone along with the DROID Maxx 2. The DROID Turbo 2 is an enhanced version of the Moto X Style that packs a slightly smaller 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED 540 ppi display. It also has  Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof display. Motorola says that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years. It packs a Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 3760mAh battery, slightly bigger than the Moto X Style and has the same front and rear cameras. The DROID Maxx 2 is a variant of Moto X Play. Motorola launched the Moto X Style, the company’s high-end smartphone in the X series earlier this month. It went on sale couple of weeks back on Flipkart starting at Rs. 29,999. We already brought you the hands-on impressions and the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. The Moto X Style is powered by an Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 20nm processor that has two bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and runs Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

Letv, one of the popular video network operators in China today introduced Le 1s, successor of the Le 1 smartphone that was introduced earlier this year. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with slim bezel. It is just 74.2mm wide, slimmer than last year’s Le 1Pro. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC and runs on Android Lollipop based on EUI 5.5. Xiaomi has released MIUI 7 global stable version for some of its smartphones, as it promised last week. It introduced MIUI 7 back in August at the Redmi Note 2 launch event back in August.
