Back in July 2014 Facebook introduced Mentions, a new app for iOS for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles to talk to their followers. Later it was expanded to India and 40 other countries. Now it has launched the app for Android. The app has Live stream feature so that musicians, athletes, actors, journalists and other celebrities can share live video with their fans. Jide Technology, popular for its Android-based Remix OS PCs introduced the Remix OS 2.0 for all other PCs and laptops at the CES 2016 last week. Today it has released the first version of Remix OS 2.0, as it had promised. Remix OS is the same Android, which has been tweaked to work on PCs and includes new UI, responds to mouse clicks and even lets you use keyboard shortcuts on your PC or laptop. ZTE Blade D Lux with 5.5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 3000mAh battery announced

ZTE has introduced (Via) Blade D Lux, the company’s latest ‘Blade series’ smartphone in Vietnam and Singapore. It packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel rear camera that also has LED flash for capturing better images even in low lighting conditions.

Letv Le Max launching in India on January 20, Le 1s also expected

At its preview event in Bangalore last month, Letv confirmed that the Le Max smartphone will launch in the country sometime mid-January 2016. Today it has sent out press invites for the launch event on January 20th. Even though the teaser just shows one smartphone, another teaser (image below) from their official Facebook page shows a smaller smartphone next to the large phone, so we can expect the latest Le 1s smartphone to launch in India, along with Le Max.

OPPO recently announced that it will launch camera-centric ‘F series’ smartphones this year in India, and F1 will be the first phone in the series, which will launch on January 28th. Now the smartphone has gone official (Via) in Vietnam. The main highlight of the smartphone is the 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/4″ sensor and software features such as Beautify 3.0, 8 live color filters, and option to use the screen as a flash light to capture better images in low lighting conditions.
