Rockstar games has finally launched Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories game for Android, after almost couple of months of launching it on iOS. It was originally released for PlayStation Portable back in 2005 and was released on PlayStation 3 in 2013. The game has several enhancements for Android that includes updated real time lighting and shadows, upgraded textures and art, greater draw distance, performance enhancements for touch-based gaming like analog steering and rebalanced targeting, and cross-platform cloud saves via Social Club. Lava International has launched A88, A71 and X11 three new 4G smartphones. The Lava A71 went on sale online earlier this week. The Lava A88 has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, while the A71 and X11 smartphones have a 5-inch HD display with  Corning Gorilla Glass protection. All these phones run on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but Lava is promising upgrade to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) for A71 and A88. These smartphones come with dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity with both TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) for India.

Microsoft teams up with Acer to pre-install its Android apps on phones and tablets

Microsoft has partnered with Acer to pre-load productivity apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype on select Android smartphones and tablets from Acer. The company said that it will start the pre-installing the apps from second half of 2016.

WiFire is a new Android app that lets you connect to free Wi-Fi hotspots nearby without requiring you to type in passwords or searching for a good network. It pops up notifications whenever there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot. You just need to give your mobile number once when setting up, after that it logs you in by filling out the details that you usually do when you connect to a free Wi-FI network and also fills the One-Time Passwords (OTPs) you receive, automatically. You can also add free hotspots you discover to earn rewards.
