Earlier this month there were rumors about HTC releasing Desire 500 series (codenamed A16) and Desire 800 series (codenamed A56) smartphones at the MWC next week, ahead of the launch of M10 in April. Now @evleaks has posted a press images of the Desire 500 series smartphone, which could be the Desire 530. This week was all about cheapest Android smartphone launched in India for Rs. 251. Ringing Bells – a Noida-based company – launched the Freedom 251 and the world went crazy. The company doesn’t have any history in making smartphones and anything else. All we know about the Ringing Bells is that it launched a very cheap 4G smartphone earlier this month, Smart 101 at Rs. 2,999.

LG G5 press render surfaces ahead of launch

First press render of the LG’s flagship G5 smartphone has surfaced online, thanks to @evleaks. Even though the phone doesn’t look impressive in an image posted earlier, the new render reveals a different design. ARCHOS has announced Diamond 2 Plus, along with the Diamond 2 Note smartphone, ahead of MWC 2016. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, Laser Auto Focus, dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a flash. It has hybrid dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor on the back and USB Type-C port.

After introducing the ARCHOS 50d Oxygen smartphone and several Oxygen series tablets, the company today introduced its flagship Diamond 2 Note smartphone with a 6-inch Quad HD IPS borderless screen, ahead of MWC 2016 next week. It is powered by an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 4K video recording and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has hybrid dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity.

Cat phones, popular for its rugged phones, today announced it’s flagship Cat S60, which becomes the world’s first smartphone with an integrated thermal camera. The company also says that it is the world’s most waterproof smartphone since it is waterproof to depths of up to 5 meters for one hour, allowing it to be used as an underwater camera. It also exceeds military spec since it is built to withstand drops onto concrete from up to 1.8 meters, and it’s dustproof. This display can be viewed in bright sunlight, and the touchscreen can be controlled with wet fingers or while wearing gloves. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Gmail rolls out ‘Gmailify’ to help users with non-gmail accounts

Believe it or not, we live in a world where there are people who don’t have a Gmail account and now the service is bringing a new feature to cater to that specific audience. Gmail has announced ‘Gmailify’ feature that will allow non-Gmail users to access Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Yahoo! email accounts through the Gmail app on Android.
