Vodafone India has announced that it has invested over Rs. 1000 crore to upgrade its network for more than 1 crore customers in the Delhi NCR region. ” Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available across all major work, educational, recreational and Administrative hubs in Delhi NCR including Gurgaon, Dwarka, Airport, Delhi Cantt, Vasant Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, AIIMS, Dhaula Kuan, South Ex, Azadpur, Naraina, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Wazir Pur, Patel Nagar, CP, Peeragarhi, Okhla, Sarita Vihar, Nehru Place, IIT – Delhi,” said the company. Airtel launches international roaming packs with free incoming calls, up to 3GB data

Airtel has launched new Smart Packs for international roaming that offers unlimited free incoming calls, free callback minutes to India, up to 3GB of free data and more. The packs start at Rs. 2,499 and comes with a validity of 30 days. These packs can be activated through the Airtel website, myAirtel app, USSD and Customer Contact Centers. Airtel today announced that it has commercially launched its 4G LTE services in Chidambaram, Sriperumbudur and Karaikudi in Tamilnadu. It was the first operator to launch 4G in Tamilnadu back in June 2015. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the towns. For existing Airtel customers, the company is offering a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G. Idea Cellular has selected Nokia to provide the technology for its 4G LTE rollout in three of its key regional circles – Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana. Airtel to acquire Aircel’s 4G spectrum in 8 circles for Rs. 3500 crore

Bharti Airtel has announced that the company and its subsidiary, Bharti Hexacom have entered into definitive agreements with Aircel and its subsidiaries, Dishnet Wireless to acquire rights to use 20 MHz of 2300 Band 4G spectrum for eight circles – Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, North East, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa for an aggregate consideration of Rs. 3,500 crore.
