Jio has announced a partnership with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to launch In-Flight services to its JioPostpaid Plus customers, enabling mobile services like voice and data to those travelling abroad. These service will first begin on 22 international flights and will later be expanded to domestic flights. The plans start at Rs. 355 and offer access to ZEE5’s premium bespoke content in 12 languages across originals, shows and blockbuster movies that usually costs Rs. 699. British telecom giant Vodafone’s merger with Indian telecom giant Idea Cellular has been in the works for over 3 years, since January, 2017. While the merger itself was completed in 2018, Vodafone Idea has only now completed its integration, and they are marking this with the announcement of a re-brand from Vodafone Idea to simply “Vi”.

MediaTek has announced Dimensity 1000C, 5G smartphone SoC which made its debut first in the United States on the LG VELVET on T-Mobile with 600 MHz and 2.5 GHz 5G spectrum. It has four ARM-Cortex-A77 CPU cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores operating up to 2GHz and Five ARM Mali-G57 GPU cores.
