Last month we reported that HTC would launch the Dual SIM variant of the HTC One soon. The phone went on sale online last month, Now HTC and Tata Docomo has partnered to launch the phone in India officially, calling it HTC One Dual SIM +. The company says that this is the first Android phone launched in India which offers CDMA and UMTS dual SIM capability. It has similar features as the HTC One single-SIM variant including a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5, UltraPixel camera with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera. Idea launches one-time 2G trial pack for Rs. 25 in Delhi

Idea Cellular has launched special 2G Trial Packs for its prepaid subscribers in Delhi that would let users enjoy internet at an economical price. The pack is priced at Rs. 25 and comes with 500 MB of 2G data which comes with 500 MB of 2G data. Vodafone launched a similar trial pack for 2G and 3G customers recently. Vodafone and ICICI Bank launch M-Pesa mobile money transfer service in Delhi and NCR

Vodafone India partnered with ICICI Bank to launch M-Pesa, a mobile money transfer and payment service back in April 2013. Now Vodafone India has announced that they have launched the M-Pesa service in Delhi and NCR region. It offers a simple and secure way to transfer money and make payments with the security of financial transactions provided by ICICI Bank. This service offers unbanked and under serviced sections of the country to gain access to financial services via the mobile phone. Vodafone has announced Vodafone Drive into the Big League contest for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is the third season of the contest for the third Indian Grand Prix that would be held in Delhi from October 25 to 27, 2013. This would offer an opportunity for small and medium enterprises to take center stage with their logo on Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racing cars. Vodafone says they had overwhelming response for the second season in which Sequel Logistics Private Limited won and had its logo on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars during Indian Grand Prix 2012. Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices has launched Freedom offer in Andhra Pradesh just in time for the Independence Day. This would let 2G pre-paid customers enjoy 1947 MB of 2G data on recharge of Rs. 32. This offer is available to all GSM pre-paid customers on 2G network. Usually the Rs. 32 pack offers just 600 MB of data. Other operators are yet to announce their Independence Day offers. Nokia Lumia 1020 Unboxing, AT&T Unlocked Version

The Nokia Lumia 1020 just arrived at FoneArena today and guess what, we managed to get hold of a unlocked unit from a US retailer. Vodafone India has partnered with Twitter India to offer access to Twitter for Android app and mobile.twitter.com free of any mobile charges for three months without any data pack. Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the MTS brand has expanded its CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to 4 more cities, Bhiwadi, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur in Rajasthan. MTS launched the world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network in India back in September 2011 starting from Jaipur. At that time MTS had also launched MBlaze Ultra dongle that offers internet speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps. Motorola has officially announced the new Trio of Droid phones, the Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and the Droid Maxx for Verizon Wireless in USA. The Droid Mini is the a compact phone with a 4.3-inch HD edge-to-edge display and wireless charging capabilities, the Droid Ultra has a 5-inch HD display is is just 7.18mm thick. The Droid Maxx also has a 5-inch HD screen and packs a 3500 mAh battery that offers up to two days of battery life on a single charge. These are powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2. All these are made with DuPont Kevlar fiber unibody design and has non-removable battery.

Vodafone India has launched Innovative Design retail concept at its store in Mumbai. This is the first Innovative Design concept store in India, and is based on a Global Design Concept in international markets like London. The store is located at its corporate office premises at Lower Parel, Mumbai.
