Flipkart teases exclusive launch for dual screen YotaPhone in India

Few weeks back Flipkart revealed exclusive launch of dual screen YotaPhone in India through newsletter sent to the its affiliate partners. The smartphone was also listed on Flipkart website last month. Today Flipkart has confirmed that it is indeed launching the smartphone exclusively in India and has posted a teaser image too. The YotaPhone was first introduced at the MWC 2013 year and went on sale in several counties in December last year. Huawei already announced that it would launched the Honor X1 tablet in India soon. Today the company launched the tablet in India. It is the same MediaPad X1 tablet that was announced earlier this year at the MWC. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. It had 512MB of Internal storage, today the company has launched a variant of the smartphone with 2GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar, including a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. 100,000 Redmi 1S smartphones sell out in 4.2 seconds in Oct 14th sale in India

Xiaomi has sold 100,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones in just 4.2 seconds in today’s (October 14th) sale in India today. September 30th sale took 13.9 seconds. For the festive season Xiaomi offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones for the Indian customers on October 6th, which took several hours or more than half a day to sell out. Samsung has launched the Gear S running Tizen-based wearable OS. It was unveiled back in August and has a built-in SIM card slot that lets you independently make and receive calls, without connecting to a device and also offers 3G support. It was unveiled at IFA last month and packs a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI.
