Micromax has launched the X330 a Dual SIM phone which also comes with a Dual LED Torch Light. The phone also packs a MP3 player and FM Radio. Incase you want to click pictures you can do so with the 2 MegaPixel Camera. There are a couple of interesting features in the X330 which are Folder Protection and Widget Wallpapers
MTS the telecom arm of Sistema Shyam Tele Services Ltd (SSTL) has launched Voice services in Pune and is expanding it’s operation across Maharashtra. As a Promotional offer it’s charging 1 paisa for 4 seconds for calls within it’s network. The company now offers data servers under the MBlaze brand in 17 cities in the state including Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Jalgoan and Ahmdnagar
The is a fresh rumor that the HTC Desire might get the latest android update aka FroYo on June 23rd. We know HTC is already working on bringing the update to all HTC android devices sold in 2010.

Bitstream the company behind the Bolt Mobile Browser has released the 2.1 version of it’s BOLT Browser which was in a Beta for sometime. What’s cool is that the company is claiming that the browser has the best mobile browser video support. If that’s true then its some serious competition for Skyfire. This version has HTML5 Video support in addition to Flash. Bollywood sites such as hungama and bollywoodhungama are supported.

The name has got something to do with the audio chipset which produces high quality sound and the ear earphone noise cancellation according to the company’s claims. They have launched 6 new handsets in this category ranging from Rs.1400-Rs.3600
The Department of Telecom (DoT) just posted the list of winners for the 3G Auctions in various circles. Airtel , Aircel ,Reliance, Idea, Tata , STel won atleast 1 circle. Videocon and Etisalat did not win even one circle ! Once the formalities are over we should expect commercial services to be offered by the winners starting from September 2010

The Indian mobile phone industry has seen unprecedented growth and emergence of new players in the market. Players like Micromax, Maxx, Karbonn have come from nowhere and started selling handsets in the lakhs.
Amongst them is a company called Olive. Olive Mobiles is a new entrant just like the ones above and many more. So what makes them unique you might ask, they all are the same after all! One look and you might say so. But a closer look reveals that it is not the same.
Olive phones have made quite a splash with their handsets. Engadget even covered one of their models. A feat, no Indian manufacturer I know has managed till date.
