Motorola RAZR MAXX Unboxing

What’s awesome about the Motorola RAZR MAXX is that it packs a massive 3300 mAh battery.  Moto promises about 17.6 hours of talk time on this handset which is almost twice the talk time on the RAZR. SanDisk Mobile Ultra 16GB microSDHC Memory Card Review

We reviewed the Sandisk 64GB microSDXC card earlier this year, now here is the review of the SandDisk 16GB microSDHC card that was launched in India . It is aUHS-1 (UHS Speed Class 1) card similar to the 64GB one. Unlike the 64GB card which was class 6, this one is class 10. SanDisk promises read speeds up to 30 MB/sec. Zync Z-999 plus 3G Android 4.0 tablet with voice calling launched in India for Rs. 11,990

Zync has launched the Zync Z-999 plus Android tablet in India followed by the Zync Z-990 plus that was launched last month. This tablet has has 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and has a 3G data connectivity and voice calling through an on-board SIM card slot. It has 1.5 GHz single-core ARM Cortex 8 processor, 0.3 MP video calling camera, 2MP rear-facing camera and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is just 8mm thick and weighs 340 grams. Idea offers local on-net calls at 10 paise per minute for UP West and Uttrakhand customers


Idea Cellular has launched new tariff voucher in UP West and Uttrakhand customers that would let them make local on-net (Idea to Idea) calls at just 10 paise per minute. This is available through a special tariff voucher (STV) priced at Rs.28. Idea launched similar plans in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat last year.

LG Optimus 3D Max Unboxing

Here is the FoneArena unboxing of the LG Optimus 3D Max which has been launched in India recently . The Optimus 3D Max is a much improved version of the original Optimus 3D phone which was bulky. Tata Docomo cuts Photon Plus tariffs, introduces Reload Packs


Tata Docomo has reduced the Photon Plus tariffs for the post-paid customers. The Rs. 950 plan offers 6GB of free data and the Rs.1200 plan offers 11 GB of free data. These plan comes with unlimited data that would offer up to 3.1 Mbps data speeds till the free data limit after that speed would be throttled to 153.6Kbps. These new unlimited plans also offer cash back of Rs 100 per month for 12 months from date of purchase. They have also reduced the cost of base plans. Samsung Galaxy Beam up for pre-order in India for Rs. 29900


Samsung Galaxy Beam is now on pre-order from the Samsung’s Official eStore. Samsung announced the Galaxy Beam, successor of their previous Beam at MWC 2012 in February. It was expected to be available in South West Asia including India in May, but it got delayed. It has a 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It has 15 lumens pico projector that allows users to share photos, videos or other digital media instantly and in crisp clarity up to 50-inch wide. Nokia 808 PureView Review

Every once in a while a phone is released which showcases the best of technology possible at that time. Back in 2007, it was the Nokia N95 which showcased exactly how to build a mobile computer. The N95 truely was a revolutionary device packing everything but the kitchen sink under its plastic shell ! The very same year Apple announced the iPhone. It single handedly defined how to make a great and easily understood user interface and made Symbian look clunky and redundant overnight. Since then we’ve had various permutations and combinations of the formulae attempted to various degrees of success.

Fast forward to 2012 and we have another revolutionary device. The Nokia 808 PureView is hands down the best camera phone ever released. In fact it might hold its own for a few years given that the phone which comes closest is still only the 808’s two year old predecessor. MTS launches new STD Voice and MBlaze Data packs for Tamil Nadu customers


MTS has launched new STD Voice Special Tariff Voucher (STV) and introduced MBlaze Data packs for their customers in Tamil Nadu. The new Rs.25 Special Tariff Voucher (STV) offers STD calls at 25 paisa per minute with a validity of 30 days. It will be valid for the first 250 minutes of STD calling, post that customers would be charged 50 paisa per minute for STD calls. Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet gets Android 4.0 OTA update in India

Lenovo ThinkPad tablet has received the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update in India. It is also available in United States, UK, Europe and other countries worldwide. Lenovo launched the ThinkPad Tablet in India last October and announced the ICS update for the tablet earlier this February. This update would offer improved browser with save it for later option and Voice input that would let you dictate text. There is no Face Unlock feature as they announced. LG A290 Triple SIM phone now available in India for Rs. 4100

LG A290, the company’s first Triple SIM phone that was announced earlier this February is now available in India. It has Triple Standby and has Hard Key to switch between SIM cards. It has 2.2-inch (176 x 220 pixels) 262K Colour TFT LCD display and has 1.3MP CMOS fixed focus camera with 4x digital zoom and Video Recording at 15 fps.
