Oppo India has announced that it would launch the Find 7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the country by mid-2014. Oppo entered into the Indian market with the Oppo N1 and later introduced the Oppo Neo, Find 5 Mini and Oppo R1 in the Indian market. It plans to expand its portfolio to over 10 mobile phones across different categories in India by December 2014. India has become the number one country in the world to make maximum requests for content censorship on Facebook. The world’s largest social revealed in its Second Transparency Report that the Indian Government made 3,598 requests and asked for access to over 4,711 accounts.

Vodafone has just announces that it has acquired 100% stake in its Indian subsidiary, Vodafone India Limited. It acquired indirect equity interests in VIL held by Analjit Singh and Neelu Analjit Singh in March, taking its stake to 89.03% of Vodafone India. Piramal Enterprises Limited has agreed to sell its 10.97% Vodafone India stake to Vodafone for Rs. 8,900 crores.
