Xolo Q1200 in the Q-CORE series went on sale online last week. Now Xolo has officially unveiled the smartphone. As we already know, it has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED Flash, Sony Exmor R sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xolo releases kernel source for Q1100

Xolo has started releasing kernel source for its smartphones starting from the Xolo Q1100 powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. Xolo has officially launched the Q600s, the company’s latest budget smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It went on sale online earlier this week and packs a  4.5-inch qHD  display based on One Glass Solution (OGS), powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom processor and has 1GB of RAM. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. This would compete with Moto E, Micromax Unite 2 A106 and the Lava Iris X1. After releasing the Xolo A510s Lite, Xolo is all set to release new smartphones in its Q CORE series. The Xolo Q600s, successor of last year’s Q600 and the Xolo Q1200 are now available from online retailer Snapdeal. The Q600s would be the company’s first smartphone to run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The company has already promised Android KitKat update for a range of older devices. With a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, this aims to compete with other budget smartphones like Moto EMicromax Unite 2 A106 and the Lava Iris X1. Xolo launched the A510s as the successor of A500s couple of months back. Today the company has unveiled the A500s Lite, a variant of last year’s A500s smartphone. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to A500s but this has a 3-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash, instead of 5-megapixel camera. Xolo released the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Q1000 Opus recently, skipping the Android 4.3 update. Today, the company has announced that it would release Android KitKat update for Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010, Q3000 and more smartphones by June 2014. Xolo Q1010i Review

Xolo launched a slightly updated version of the Xolo Q1010 in the form of Xolo Q1010i with the minor update including a better 8MP Sony EXMOR R Sensor. Xolo Q1000 Opus gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat update

Xolo has released Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Q1000 Opus that was launched back in December last year running Android 4.2.2. This is the company’s first smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series and also its first smartphone to get the KitKat update. The company had released several minor updates for the phone since the launch. It released a minor update back in January to fix camera bugs.

Xolo has announced the Q900T, the latest smartphone in the Q CORE series and the successor of the Xolo Q900. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi with 178-degree wide viewing angle and a 2.5 D Edge-to-edge curved glass on the front, similar to Xolo X1000 that was released last year and the rear panel too looks similar to X1000. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor that is clear from ‘T’ in the model number of the phone. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to most of the Xolo phones. Xolo Q1010i Unboxing
