Xolo Q1010i, successor of the Xolo Q1010 has been listed on the official Xolo website. The ‘i’ in the name indicates a better camera. The Q1010i has a 8-megapixel Sony Exmor R sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron pixel size and a 5-element lens. Other features are similar including a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display based on One-glass-Solution (OGS) technology, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Karbonn, Lava and Xolo would launch smartphones running on Windows Phone in coming months, according to a recent report from TOI. Last month at the Mobile World Congress, Microsoft announced nine new Windows Phone partners, that includes Karbonn and Xolo from India. Xolo launched the Q1100, the company’s first phone in the Q CORE series powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor last month priced at Rs. 14,999. Xolo launched the Q1100, the company’s first phone in the Q CORE series powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. About 8 months after the Q1000 launch, Xolo is all set to launch the Q1010. The phone has been listed on Flipkart and has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI, but the MT6589 processor has been replaced by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
