Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone back in March in India starting at Rs. 14,999. It was launched in three variants, but only 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants were on sale until now. Today, the company has announced that the 8GB+128GB variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will go on sale for the 1st time in India.

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, is powered MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, features 4µm graphite sheet for improved thermal performance and runs Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Xiaomi has announced yet another product in the micro mobility segment, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. It features an extended range of up to 45km, speeds up to 25 km/hr, 3 speed modes, an improved display system, upgraded KERS, rear disk brake system and more.

At its Ecosystem Global event Xiaomi announced its Mi TV Stick, as expected. It runs Android TV 9.0 and comes with built-in Chromecast that lets you stream 1080p content. It also comes with Mi Voice Remote with Netflix and Prime video shortcuts and Assistant button for easy voice search. Since it comes with Google Play, you can download apps and games easily. Xiaomi today introduced the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, a cheaper version of the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 at its Mi Ecosystem event. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0, dual microphones for ENC, which is environmental noise cancellation. It has the same 14.2mm drivers, but only comes with AAC codec and not the LDHC Hi-Res audio codec like AirDots 2 and 2S. A new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M2007J1SC has received 3C certification that reveals that it will come with 120W (20V-6A Max) charger in the box. This is faster than the 100W Super Charge Turbo that Xiaomi showed off back in March last year, but it didn’t appear any commercial smartphone.
