Redmi Note 11 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs said to launch globally in Q1 2022

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series last month in China. The Redmi Note 11 series consists of three devices – Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. All three devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors. Now, a new report suggests that the company will launch Redmi Note 11 Series with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs and a new design language globally in Q1 2022.

The Redmi Note 11 Series powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile Platforms should be the one launching as Redmi Note 11 series in India. To those unaware, Xiaomi usually launches three handsets under its Redmi Note series in India – Redmi Note, Redmi Note Pro, and Redmi Note Pro Max. Also, most Redmi Note handsets in India usually get Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

Moreover, Xiaomi is said to launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (Chinese variant) and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (Chinese variant) as the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge respectively in India. Also, the Redmi Note 11 5G (Chinese variant), which was recently launched as POCO M4 Pro 5G globally, is said to launch as Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. Sounds confusing, right? Let us summarize this with the help of a table,

China India Global
Redmi Note 10 Redmi Note 10T 5G
POCO M3 Pro 5G
Redmi Note 10 5G
POCO M3 Pro 5G
Redmi Note 10 Pro POCO X3 GT
Redmi Note 11 Redmi Note 11T 5G (rumoured) POCO M4 Pro 5G
Redmi Note 11 Pro Xiaomi 11i (rumoured) Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (rumoured)
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge (rumoured) Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (rumoured)

This clearly suggests that Xiaomi has a plan to launch a different Redmi Note 11 series for India. There is also a possibility of the upcoming vanilla Redmi Note 11 Indian variant might launch as Redmi Note 11 in the global markets. The report by The Pixel also suggests that the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series devices, powered by Qualcomm Mobile Platforms, will also launch in the Chinese market, but with different names.
