Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in the country a couple of months ago running MIUI 11.0 Global Stable on top of Android 10. Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in a month.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil its Mi 12 series of handsets in the coming months. To recall, the brand had launched its flagship Mi 11 back in December 2020 which was followed by Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra launch in March 2021. This time the brand is said to launch multiple products under the Xiaomi 12 series, including the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced, and a compact handset with codename Psyche.
Update: Xiaomi has also confirmed that POCO F1 will not get the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update. It didn’t get the MIUI 12.5 update as well. Xiaomi today confirmed the launch of Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone in India on November 30. This will be the successor to the Redmi Note 10T 5G which was launched in the country back in July. The invite just says ‘Next Gen Racer’ without revealing any other details, but earlier rumours revealed that it will be the same Redmi Note 11 5G which was launched in China last month. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series last month in China. The Redmi Note 11 series consists of three devices – Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. All three devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors. Now, a new report suggests that the company will launch Redmi Note 11 Series with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs and a new design language globally in Q1 2022.
Xiaomi has introduced Loop LiquidCool Technology which promises twice the cooling capabilities compared to conventional vapor chambers solutions. Google, last month, officially unveiled Android 12 and started rolling out Android 12 Stable updates for eligible Pixel smartphones. Xiaomi had also announced Android 12 Public Beta for some of its flagship range devices including Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, and Mi 11 (Mi 11X Pro in India). Now, the Chinese smartphone giant seems to be gearing up to bring Android 12 to more handsets.
